Degree Description

This program qualifies graduates for entry-level jobs in accounting. Students will have knowledge of typical accounting situations to be expected in a computerized accounting environment or in small and medium sized businesses. Graduates will be able to successfully compete for positions in accounting areas such as payroll, cost, taxes, payables and receivables. They may have supervisory responsibilities as office managers and staff accountants under the supervision of a head accountant, controller or treasurer..
