The Office of Institutional Advancement charts the future of Mott Community College by sharing our story with students and stakeholders in the community and beyond and by obtaining resources to further the College’s mission.
The Office consists of four departments: Marketing and Communications Department, College Information Center, Grant Development Department and The Foundation for Mott Community College.
The Marketing and Communications Department tells the story of the College through branding, marketing, promotion and media relations. The Mar-Comm Office builds relationships between the College, students and the larger community, oversees advertising, branding and marketing and manages media relations and more.
Some important resources from the Marketing and Communications Department include:
The College Information Center gathers and shares information about student enrollment, important dates, available services, events on campus and more. The College Information Center can be reached at (810) 762-0200 and 2help@mcc.edu.
The Grant Development Department discovers and develops funding for programs, facilities, student support services and other resources. Grant Development works together with MCC’s Executive Cabinet, administrators, faculty and staff to identify and secure grant funding to meet all of MCC’s needs.
The Foundation for Mott Community College coordinates community engagement and fundraising with students, alumni, faculty, staff and stakeholders. The Foundation raises funds for scholarships and other needs, organizes special projects and enhances opportunity in Flint and beyond.
