The Music Technology program focuses on the knowledge and skills essential for music production, recording and audio engineering. Our students take courses exploring music creation, production, scoring for media and live sound reinforcement. Class on fundamentals, ensemble performance and music business provide deeper insights.
Opportunities flourish, both in Michigan and nationally, at recording studios, television and radio stations, post-production/mixing and mastering companies, schools, churches and local businesses. Students may also continue their education by transferring to a four year university. Upon completion, students will be ready to pursue a career in music technology or transfer to a four-year institution to continue study.
