Applewood at Second & Saginaw is MCC’s upscale casual restaurant/teaching laboratory in downtown Flint. Guests are welcomed to a sleek and modern dining space where they will enjoy excellent cuisine and beautifully-crafted baked goods created by our students. It creates the perfect environment for budding culinary artists, future pastry chefs, and aspiring hospitality professionals to gain real-world experience.

Limited hours and limited menu offerings, including hot beverages, and pastries made by the culinary program. The MCC Beanery is manned by students and supervised by a faculty member from the Culinary Arts program.

Vending machines offering hot, cold and frozen selections are available in convenient locations throughout main campus to serve you during
regular school hours. A wide variety of food is available including: sandwiches, snacks,
breakfast items, muffins, ice cream, dinners, and hot and cold drinks. Microwaves
and various condiments are located in the vending area.
Vending machines are equipped to use MCC dollars and change. Machines in Mott Memorial Building and the Prahl College Center are also equipped with credit card readers. Change machines are located near the vending machines.
Vending machine refunds can be obtained through the Cashier's Office located in the lower level of the Prahl College Center.
A vending machine with Scantrons is located on the main floor of the Library.

The Mott Community College food pantry, Mott Eats, is a direct response to the need among the Individuals who are willing to come to our staging area to help with the sorting, bagging, and loading of food for drivers to deliver to the student population for more resources to fight food insecurity. With rising living expenses and the external demands on students, it has become increasingly difficult for students to juggle the costs of living with the costs of obtaining a higher education degree, and thus many students are finding themselves choosing between essentials such as food and the costs of college.
Mott Eats was established to provide emergency relief to help students at Mott Community College. And this effort, is one facet of a multi-faceted approach to combating food insecurity on campus.
