Current MCC & College Transfer Students :
- Must have submitted a complete Honors Program Application and essay
- Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Must have completed a minimum of 12 college credit hours (at MCC or other accredited
college)
Please note: After final grades are posted for each semester, invitations to apply to the Honors
Program are sent to all MCC students who qualify. However, students may initiate the
application process without waiting for a letter of invitation.
Dual-Enrolled & Recent High School Graduates:
- Must have submitted a complete Honors Program Application and essay
- Must have permission of high school administrator AND / OR a counselor letter of recommendation
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Must provide high school transcripts directly to the Honors College Coordinator
