Distinguished Alumni Award

Mott Community College’s Distinguished Alumni Award was established in 2002 for the purpose of recognizing truly outstanding women and men who have provided an inspirational impact to students and/or the community and for their significant contributions to career achievement and community service. By honoring our former students we hope to inspire today’s student to strive for both personal and professional success.

Nomination Process

Nominations are accepted up until July 31 via online submission or by mailing the printable pdf form to the Foundation for MCC, 1401 E. Court St. Flint, MI 48503-2089.

Individuals, organizations and businesses are encouraged to nominate Distinguished Alumni candidates. The award recipients are selected by a prominent panel of judges. Winners will be notified prior to the event. The selected Honorees will be recognized at the annual Distinguished Alumni Awards Ceremony. All award recipients should be available to accept the award in person at the Awards Ceremony.

Please be sure your nomination includes specific examples of how the individual meets each of the four selection criteria:

Role Model
Candidate inspires excellence in others.
Outstanding Success
Candidate has made a significant contribution to career achievement.
Impact
Candidate's accomplishments have a long-lasting effect on business and/or community.
Community Service
Candidate has demonstrated a visible commitment to the well being of the Flint area, state, nation or world.
