Excellent water quality is of the utmost importance to Mott Community College. As a longtime community resident and employee of MCC, I have witnessed the numerous crises that our region has faced. With each challenge, Mott Community College has served as an anchor institution to keep our region economically sound.
MCC is committed to providing a safe and welcoming learning environment that promotes student and employee success. As the Chief Financial Officer, my priority is to ensure a transparent approach to supplying an uncompromised water source for our College community. The Mott Community College safe water information webpage shares monthly water testing results across campus, and any necessary actions taken if testing results were out of compliance. The webpage gives updated information on the availability and distribution of bottled water, water testing kits and filters at MCC, in addition to community resources related to the water situation in Flint.
We encourage you to visit the website monthly and to use the various college and community links, including the Michigan 211 link, our new hydration station link, and the Lead in Water Factsheet. For the health and safety of you and your family, we have also provided a video link on how to install water filters.
Thank you for the trust that you have put in Mott Community College for almost 100 years. We do not take it lightly and will continue to lead the way for our region's success.
