An online class with MCC Lifelong Learning allows you to update your skills, release your talent, and discover a new career path all at your fingertips. Online classes allow you to attend class at your convenience.
Each course runs for 6 weeks and consists of 12 lessons. The first lesson is made available at the web site below after 6:00 p.m. on the first day of class, Wednesday, and subsequent lessons are posted every Friday and Wednesday thereafter. You can access each lesson at any time of day after it is posted to the web site, and each lesson remains available to you for approximately ten days.
Interactive quizzes, assignments, tutorials, and online discussion areas available via the World Wide Web supplement the lessons. Read your lessons and ask questions of your instructor at the times most convenient to you.
Select a class category, the link will provide you with the registration information that you will need: course number, description and cost. Each course title will lead you to the course syllabus.
Students will require internet access, an email address and an up-to-date web browser. Any additional software requirements will be noted in the course description.
Use the "Enroll Now" button that appears next to the course and follow the instructions for signing up and purchasing.
This is required to proceed. Go to the course description page for your course and select your class, then select “orientation”. You must complete this by the Monday prior to the start of your course to ensure your access will be effective by the class start time of 6:00pm on the first Wednesday. If you register for more than one course, you must attend the online orientation for each course.
Keep a hard copy of the specifics for accessing your course material (including your password), contacting your instructor and downloading a completion letter.
Failure to attend the required online orientation before the start day of the course will delay your access to the online classroom. We must verify your registration after you attend the online orientation. This is done only during our regular business hours. The deadline for the required orientation is one week after the class begins.
