The Student Employee Evaluation Form is provided by the Student Employment Center (SEC). The process is a participative effort between the supervisor and the student employee to assess the student's performance, recognize strengths and acknowledge deficiencies. This is an opportunity for both parties to express their expectations and concerns for the next on-the-job training period.
The evaluation process is to be completed jointly by the supervisor and the student employee and should be done in a confidential atmosphere. For new student employees, supervisors are encouraged to use the form during mid-semester and again at the end of the first semester employed. For continuing student employees, supervisors are encouraged to use the form at the end of each semester the student works.
Evaluation Forms are available online at Laserfiche Forms / Tasks and should be signed by both the immediate supervisor and the student employee. Keep a printed copy as part of the employee's permanent record, and give a copy to the student employee.
