Program Description

Youth Build is an empowering and transformative program designed to provide individuals ages 18 to 24 with the necessary skills, education and support to construct a successful future. A 26-week program provides a positive and inclusive environment where young adults will choose between two tracks: a Certified Nurses Assistant Certificate or a Construction Trade program.

Core Components

  • Construction Certificate track
  • Certificate of Nursing Assistant track
  • Case Management: Career and Advising
  • Leadership Development Training
  • Transitional Services: Employment Placement or Post-Secondary with 12 month follow up
  • Each track will provide a stipend program.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Ages 18- 24
  • Working towards a GED or have a High School Diploma
  • Reside in Genesee County
