Every writer needs a reader!

The MCC Writing Center is committed to supporting all Mott writers at any stage in their writing process for any writing project. Because writing is such an important part of college, the MCCWC offers free, one-on-one tutoring sessions with tutors who are trained to help students understand assignments, brainstorm ideas, develop details, conduct and cite research, locate and correct grammar and punctuation errors, retain information from readings, and more! The main job of tutors is to help writers meet the expectations of their specific audience and help them to become more confident in their writing abilities for their immediate assignments and in the future.
